We are proud to be supporting Orange Sky Laundry with our two raffle quilts made by members of Eastwood Patchwork Quilters. Our exhibition will be held at Brush Farm House, 19 Lawson Street, Eastwood from May 5-7, open daily from 10-4.30. Here is one of the quilts with the van.

Today was the first of three days activity towards our 2017 exhibition, it starts this Friday May 5 and runs through to Sunday May 7th. Piles and piles of quilts arrived at Brush Farm House ready for judging.
Our judges this year are Amanda Daly, Chris Jurd and Kathy Doughty. Thanks so much ladies for giving of your time so generously today.
And of course, tasty food featured as at any quilting event …. bodes well for our weekend cafe!
Now we just have the wait until the offical opening for the results of the judging!

If you are making the trip south to catch the Braidwood Airing of the Quilts on the weekend, make sure that you leave a little time to check out the Bungendore Quilters Exhibition as well. Its just a short drive across from Braidwood and the exhibition is always worth a look. You can link to their website here
This year Quiltarama will be bigger and better than ever. Along with the display of fabulous quilts and stalls, this year will see the continuation of Workshops, led by our renowned quilting tutors. New this year – NCEATA (Newcastle Creative Embroiderers & Textile Artists) Exhibition “Textile Trends”.
As with last year, Quiltarama is a community event. All proceeds will benefit the local Community. See our Fundraising Page for more information. the local CWA members provide delicious morning teas. Entry to the exhibition is $5.
So make a weekend of it and join us in the charming country town of Dungog for a Quiltastic weekend of quilts and craft. the 2 day workshops with morning tea and lunch included cost $160.

During Our Quilt Exhibition at Brush Farm, Saturday and Sunday May 1-3, prospective new members are welcome to take advantage of our special offer to join at the Exhibition. Eastwood Patchwork Quilters are offering the chance to join for $100 and have 14 months membership for the price of 12 months. We welcome new members and there are three different time slots to join. Our members are friendly and welcoming to quilters of all skill levels.
