EPQ Exhibition 2013 – What a great success!

Lots of quits, excited quilters, Devonshire teas, craft and supplies shopping, beautiful weather and a beautiful location. What more could we have asked for!

Our 2013 Eastwood patchwork Quilters Exhibition was nothing but a great success. From the moment visitors entered the gate of Brush Farm House in Eastwood, the anticipation built.

Visitors were welcomed by banners and bunting around the perimeter of Brush Farm House

The cafe was busy all day supplying Devonshire teas and home baked goodies

Even the trees did not escape the preparations of the day!

Wednesday Night Group are not asleep on the job!

Wednesday night members have taken on the (insert word ENORMOUS) task of making enough bunting to stretch around the perimeter fence of Brush Farm House at Eastwood where the Eastwood Patchwork Quilters 2013 Biennial Quilt Exhibition will be held.

The dates for the exhibition are Friday 3^rd May – Sunday 5^th May 2013 10am-4.30pm at Brush Farm House, Lawson St, Eastwood NSW

I am not sure if the ladies realised the enormity of the task until it was begun! The members of the 3 groups contributed rectangles of fabrics, cut to a specified size.

The sets for each banner section selected and then busily stitched to ties.

One section finished . . how many to go?
