This exhibition is highly recommended if you enjoy textiles or history. The Lady and the Unicorn is currently on exhibit at the Art Gallery of NSW, Sydney, it’s only venue in Australia. The competition is being run in conjunction with Oatley Lions Club and proceeds go to the McGrath Foundation to help provide breast care nurses and support to women and families suffering breast cancer.
Take a short trip to Concord West to visit the newly opened NSW Embroiderers Guild building and catch this interesting exhibition. It’s on until the 25/1/18 with a meet the artist and demonstration day this Saturday 6/1/18 from 10-2.
Sure to be worth catching is the solo exhibition of Brenda Gael Smith to be held at the Gosford Regional Gallery. All the information is below and you can link to her website here

Barn quilters have their exhibition on at the Mosman Art Gallery
Afterwards head north to Mona Vale for the market day at Patchwork on Pittwater but take note this is only on today Saturday. The address is suite 28 on the 4th floor of the Gateway Building, 1 Mona Vale Road, Mona Vale 9999 6159.
